Egg Drop Lab 6/9/11
Materials: egg (Harold), rubber bands, 2 meter sticks, and high platform.
Procedures:
1 Put the egg (harold) in a bag closed tightly.
2 Put a paper clip through a hole in the bag and make sure its secure.
3 Put rubber bands attaching them to the paper clip.
4 Measure the hight of the drop with the two meter sticks using centimeters.
5 Tie the bands to the high platform.
6 Drop the egg from the plaform ( protect the egg from the pole) and record how low it dropped.
7 Repete as many trials and see how far you can drop the egg without breaking it.
Independent Variable: Number of rubber bands.
Depndent Variable: How far the egg dropped.
Constants: The hight dropped and gravity.
